They traveled from LA to San Francisco, Denver, Chicago, New York and Washington DC by train promoting community action. The entertainment group who opened each seminar was a New York performance entity called City Kids (its members included Dash Mihok, Rosario Dawson and Malik Yoba). Jason became a part of their weekend retreat promoting the melting pot that was New York in January of 1993. Eventually, Jason moved to New York City for good in 1997, after studying acting at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta.
