Matthew's interest in film began at a young age when his local dance studio training led to a featured role in Disney's Newsies (1992) as well as appearances on television programs and national commercials. It was during Matt's attendance at the University of California at Santa Barbara that he had his first taste of sound production. He subsequently studied at the Los Angeles Recording Workshop to learn the latest in audio production. He recently completed work as the Sound Mixer/Boom Operator on the feature film, _Rogues (2002)_. He occasionally engineers at LA clubs to satisfy his love of live music, but his primary profession is sound production and post-production for feature films, documentaries and short-fiction. Matthew's greatest production was proposing to his director at the end of a month-long traveling documentary shot in 2000.
