David Bear sold his first script at age of nineteen. Although it was never produced, Bear (as he is known to his fellow crewmembers) continued to write. Eventually he moved into directing and created 22 industrial videos. He decided to get back into fictional filmmaking and worked as a 2nd AD on the 35mm short, The Whisper, is attached to the independent feature currently in pre-production, Judge Koan, and just completed work on the feature film, _Rogues (2002)_.
