A self-taught and pro-active film-maker, Kaprice's formative years were spent in London. In 1993 (pre-internet), Kaprice founded and hosted Peeping Tom's", in the heart of Soho. The first club of it's kind, Kaprice provided a free information and networking resource, to serve a 'new wave' of emerging film professionals for 7 years. During this period, as a screenwriter & director, and rapidly following on from his acclaimed short, "Honeymoon Beyond", Kaprice made his 35mm feature film debut with "the hurting". Then, in January 2000, he chose a different life, re-locating to Thailand, to set-up his second feature film, "Butterfly Man". For a brief spell, Kaprice funded himself by directing TV Commercials. In 2001, once Butterfly Man had wrapped, he decided to apply his directing skills, and experience in international film, to provide weekly screen acting workshops. He founded fluid (registered as fluid film co ltd), with a mission to cultivate a pool of quality actors. Within months, mission completed, fluid had secured an exclusive reputation for representing screen actors, that met the expectations and demand of foreign producers coming to shoot in Thailand. Until the pandemic, Kaprice's prepping, repping and strategising, helped enable Bangkok-based actors to land speaking roles on profile movies, the key building blocks to their careers. New generations of aspiring actors continue to attend his screen acting workshops that still run today. Throughout those years, Kaprice has kept busy, directing two more feature films, cast twelve international productions, and received a variety of credits for international feature film, that include: producer, editor, assistant director, screenwriter, script consultant, dialogue editor, dialogue coach, acting coach, and as an actor!
