Birmingham, Alabama native Chris Garrison attended the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan to learn cartoon animation. After returning to the South, he continued doing freelance work on projects shown on Sesame Street, Cartoon Network, and MTV. He also animated 17 regional ads for Jack's Family Restaurants and UAB football. Garrison co-created and acted in the live-action short The Electric Heartbreaker, which garnered a glowing, 5-star review from Chris Gore of filmthreat.com.
