Jennifer Bowen's feature film debut was in Mona Lisa Smile (2003), starring Julia Roberts (dir. Mike Newell). She worked with Robert Downey Jr. on Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus (2006), starring Nicole Kidman (dir. Steven Shainberg). Jennifer also had a memorable quirky role in "Porn 'N Chicken" on Comedy Central. She performed her award-winning one-woman show on "Anne Sexton" at the Culture Project as part of their Women's Festival in New York City. Most recently, her screenplay, "Sad Sack Sally", was converted to a one-act play and was part of the Strawberry One Act Festival, where it was a semi-finalist. The feature of Sad Sack Sally (2009) will complete shooting in Summer '08. Jennifer received her BFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and is a graduate of the Maggie Flanigan Studio.
