Brad was a graduate of Henderson County High School, where he played Henry Higgins in "My Fair Lady" his senior year. He received his undergraduate degree from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky and his Master's and Doctorate degrees from LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He lived and worked as an actor in New York City for several years, and performed at regional theaters in New England and the South. Brad was a Licensed Clinical Psychologist as well as a stage, film, television, and commercial actor. He was a clinical supervisor for the Center for HIV Educational Studies and Training in the Chelsea area of New York City. A few weeks after his death, a celebration of Brad's life was held at the 981-seat Henderson Fine Arts Center in Kentucky.
