John Beck Hofmann

John Beck-Hofmann is an award winning director/cinematographer of space related and political documentaries for NASA, PBS, National Geographic Channel, Discovery Channel, and corporate image projects for Planetary Resources, among others. Awards include an Emmy for Outstanding Science, Technology and Nature Programming, People's Choice Award & Audience Award for Maidan Massacre, Gold Plaque Award for The Pathfinders, NASA's Exceptional Achievement Medal for 7 Minutes of Terror and four time winner of NASA's Videographer of the Year award. John is the owner and the executive producer of Weatherman Films Productions in Los Angeles, CA & Omaha, NE and an affiliate of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. John is also a composer, having written original scores for multiple full length TV documentaries and feature films as well.
