Born in Robinsdale Minnesota at 1:59 a.m. (just in time for last call) on June 3rd, 1970. His father a high school teacher and his mother a registered nurse recall being unable to get a 5 year old Brian away from the T.V. during a "New" show that began airing in 1975 called "Saturday Night Live" It aired well past his normal bedtime but he refused to go to bed until the show was over. After seeing how determined he was to stay up and watch the show each weekend, they finally gave up trying to fight it. Brian knew every character and he memorized all of the skits from the show. Later, he would try to make his friends and family laugh every chance he could with the routines. Since that time, he has gone on to study acting at The Stella Adler Studio and at The Groundlings Theater in Hollywood, California. Today, Lynch has worked with Hollywood's top talent and has taken direction from Oscar winning director Ang Lee. He has also worked with award winning directors; Martin Scorsese, Gore Verbinski, Nancy Meyers, David Dobkin, Ron Shelton, and Kevin S. Bright. Lynch can be seen in several major motion pictures, but only if you look closely. You can see him playing an airplane mechanic for Howard Hughes (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) as he breaks the world speed record and crash lands his plane in a field of beets in the film "The Aviator." In the movie "The Hulk", Lynch can be seen playing the military police officer who takes actor Nick Nolte (the father) into the army base to see his son played by Eric Bana. In the opening scene of the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" Lynch can be seen playing a British Naval Officer coming to the rescue of young Will Turner. Lynch attended Arizona State University, where he majored in English with a focus on literature. He moved to California in 1995 and he has since made his home in Hermosa Beach. From 1995-1997 he worked as a marketing and production assistant for MTV's west coast events. He became interested in acting professionally and joined The Screen Actors Guild. He is a member of The Hollywood Film Society, SAG Conservatory, The SAG Foundation, and is also a professional Real Estate Appraiser. During one of Lynch's 1st stage performances, part of the set accidentally fell on him on opening night. In the theatrical world this is actually considered a good sign. His quick thinking and improvised lines got him some big laughs and he ended up stealing the show. In 2003, He was photographed by Ryan McVay for The Getty Images Collection: "Stone". He also has many years of experience as a theatrical stage hand, (I.A.T.S.E. Local 13) and has worked on many famous Broadway productions. Notably, the world premier of the "The Lion King" in 1997. He also worked on The Rolling Stones Voodoo Lounge Tour in 1994 and The Rolling Stones Bridges to Babylon Tour in 1998. Lynch is known for throwing huge parties. During college, he threw the after-party for the Arizona State University's Spring Pow-Wow at his own home (much to the surprise of his roommates.) He has not yet had a breakthrough role as an American film actor.
