Sam Wasserman

Sam Wasserman has been addicted to storytelling and fascinated with all things creative since he was 4 years old. He attended undergrad at the coveted USC School of Cinema-Television before earning his Master of Fine Arts in Directing at The American Film Institute. During school and immediately after he interned and assisted a variety of top producers in development on films such as Spiderman 3 and Guess Who and at many studios such as Sony, Fox, Showtime, NBC and Warner Brothers. His short films have been honored in over 160 film festivals around the globe - earning top awards, including the Student Emmy for his AFI thesis film. In recent years, Sam's directed, created and produced a multitude of hit shows for major networks including MTV, YouTube Originals, BET, WEtv, E! Entertainment, OWN, A&E, Lifetime, Animal Planet, Verizon GO90, Facebook Watch and Discovery Studios. Sam has consistently exhibited talent and passion in both scripted and unscripted mediums.
