Babak Badkoobe

Hassan (Babak) Badkoobeh was born on August 31, 1977, in Tehran, Iran in a cultural and artistic family. He studied film directing. He received his PhD degree from IPG University in France. He is an actor,filmmaker,producer, animation and movie director. Babak Badkoobeh is known for branding too. Babak Badkoobeh started his artistic activity from the age of 6 (1983) in the TV show "Bache Ha Ino Shenidid?", and became a famous and popular figure. His most famous television appearance is in the well-known series "Dar Khaneh" (1986), a joint work of Iranian directors Bijan Birang and Massoud Rassam. Babak badkoobeh continued his collaboration with Bijan Birang and Massoud Rassam in the series "Kodakaneh" (1988) and "Hamsaye ha" (1989). The film "Safare Jadoyee" (1991) is his first professional experience in cinema directed by Abolhassan Davoodi He starred in the movie "Ham Khaneh" directed by Mehrdad Farid in 2007. He appeared as a popular presenter in television programs and children's shows such as "Tabestaneh", "Paeeze", "Sabz, Sefid, Ghermez", "Ba Javanan" and "Bam e Roshanayee", Until 1997, he wrote and directed the TV series "Jostejogaran e Javan". Also TV comedy series "Luce Luce" was written, directed and produced by him and broadcast on National television in Iran.The live TV show "Inja Ayande " included several different episodes with social, political, and sports topics; by his producing and performance on Chanel one Iranian TV In late 2014. The last part of this program, which was special Iranian New Year program (2015); and was broadcast with the performance of Ali Zia, one of the famous Iranian TV host; With more than 14 hours of live programming, it is considered as a record of performance and broadcasting of live programming on Iranian television. In 2017, he produced and invested in the movie "Dressage" directed by his brother Pouya. This film was the most Honorable film of 2017 in Iranian cinema in terms of receiving domestic and international awards. Dressage was nominated for and won more than 20 Iranian and international awards, the most important of them are the Golden Award for Best Film at the 2019 Geneva Oriental Film Festival, the Special Jury Prize in Berlin 2018, and the Simorgh e Bolorin Award for Best Film at the 36th International Film Festival Fajr 2018, and Shanghai Best Actress Award 2018 mentioned. The same year in 2018 he managed well to produce the movie "Mars" which stars acted in, For the movie "Ticket to paradise " he played his role as producer in 2019, the late months of 2019 the project of short film "upstairs neighbor" started and Babak Badkoobeh was Perfectly performed as producer,and after that he continued activity in cinema in the movie "Tara" in 2020 directed by Kaveh Ghahraman as an investor and producer. And his lates appearance in cinema was as the producer of the movie "IN" which was filmed in 2022. Babak Badkoobeh started producing animation in 2005 and until 2014 he produced more than 2500 minutes of animated series and movies. This statistic made him a professional producer in the field of animation and had domestic and international awards for him.
