Rey Hernandez is a Cuban born, bi-lingual action actor with over 70 plus, major motion picture and television show credits. Rey moved with his family to Miami from Habana, Cuba in the 1980s and made Miami his home. Rey's love for theater and the arts began to develop in high school and has been working on improving his craft ever since. Rey's professionalism, passion and commitment for excellence is the driving force behind all of his endeavors. Rey possess a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from the Florida International University in Miami. When Rey is not on set filming, he's working with other actors or taking workshops to further his craft. Rey also loves the outdoors and working out. He enjoys taking boxing classes, riding his mountain bike through the trails. Rey is a firearms and a hand to hand combat instructor which enables him to also play many physical roles and conduct his own stunts for film and TV. Because of Rey's professionalism and tactical combat experience, Rey has the physicality, authenticity and director's trust to portray the more tough and physically demanding roles. Some of Rey's motion pictures and television show bookings include; Captain Phillips, with Tom Hanks, Burn Notice, with Jeffrey Donovan, G. I. Joe working alongside Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson, Tammy with Melissa McCarthy, Lila and Eve co-staring with Oscar winning Viola Davis, Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins on Solace, and his most recent recurring guest star on The Oath alongside Sean Bean. Rey is fluent in both Spanish and English, this talent enables him, to cross over and work in both the Spanish and English speaking markets.
