Born in Recife, Brazil, in 1981. Aragão worked as an assistant director for the film Cinema, Aspirins, and Vultures (2005, Jury Prize for Best Film at the 30th Mostra), directed by Marcelo Gomes. He directed the short films A Conta-Gotas (2006), Uma Vida e Outra (2007), Solidão Pública (2008) and Não Me Deixe em Casa (2009). Good Luck, Sweetheart (2012, 36th Mostra), his first feature film, was awarded at the Locarno Film Festival (Switzerland). His most recent feature film is I Swear I'll Leave this Town (2014)
