Ken moved to Los Angeles in '99 from Wisconsin to pursue a career in film. He worked as a movie extra to get on sets and learn how films are made. When he and his wife moved across the street from Sony Studios, he took a security job to get behind those studio walls. Since then, Ken has worked in the film industry for a number of years, most notably as a studio liaison for Sony Pictures, as well as a script reader and story analyst for Sony Pictures. He is a represented screenwriter with many studio meetings under his belt (Sony, Dreamworks, Universal, Disney, Warner Brothers, etc.), a previous development deal with Lionsgate, as well as two writing assignments with Larry Levinson Productions, including the produced miniseries Blackout, starring Anne Heche, Sean Patrick Flanery, Billy Zane, James Brolin, Haylie Duff, Brian Bloom, Eric La Salle, etc. He also has written many produced Lifetime thrillers. He is also a prolific content creator for the topic of screenwriting education on platforms like ScreenCraft and Quora.
