Everlayn "Ever" Borges peers out of almond-shaped eyes from under a formidable swirl of curls and waves. She is like a cat until she stirs with the spirit of a lioness. Long, shapely limbs stretch from her voluptuous body as her whole being animates her story. There is an undeniable presence about this Cuban born multi-faceted, award-winning actress-dancer-singer and now extreme sports athlete who was born of humble beginnings with enough ambition to reach the stars. She began her career as principal dancer and soloist touring internationally with Julio Iglesias. Her motion picture debut came when director Michael Mann (Heat, Collateral) personally cast her in the role of Miss Cuba in his last big screen thriller, Miami Vice, starring Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell. Her face was the one Mann chose for the role and her image is the one that opens the movie. She appeared in Italian director Claudio Risi's film, Matrimonio alle Bahamas, as well as a number of independent features. Television credits include Showtime's Going to California and numerous performances on Univision's popular Sabado Gigante variety show. Her appearances on HDNet's series, Get Out, spawned Everlayn's international fan base. A brand ambassador for Havana Air, Havana Roasters Coffee and Born of Water sports apparel, she has been featured in dozens of music videos and commercials for global brands.
