Narasimha Vivek Rao Nipani or Vivek began his career in film working on an independent feature film as third Assistant Camera. He got the offer after continuously pursuing the work for an up and coming cinematographer in Mumbai and started as her apprentice and later being promoted to D.I.T. After working a pool of odd jobs, he got his first break with the cinematographer and never turned back. Learning while on the job, humble beginnings led Vivek to be always hungry and curious of not just cinematography but even direction, production design and post production. Learning as much as he could from people who have been in the industry since their teens and making himself better everyday and thus, he decided to pursue a Masters' in Film and Television Production at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles after receiving a scholarship for the school who noticed his passion and talented endeavors. Coming from a family of engineers, Vivek was treading a path less travelled and therefore even with an uncertain future, he fought the stereotype with support from his family and ventured on. Fast forward five year, today, Vivek had produced 8 short film, including 1 win film at Film Outside the Frame, Paramount Studios for 'Best Documentary' and 'Award for Social Justice' and over 30 cumulated nominations for the other projects at various film festivals around the world. Vivek's future goal is to make films that creates a community through films, allowing the viewer to introspect and comment on today's society - what makes it work or not work, think sternly on the implications of our (human) involvement in several things, including climate change to injustice and degradation of human life and putting all together telling a story that motivates, inspires, and most of all remind the viewers, the magic of films
