Rupert Fredrick Boneham was born on January 27, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan, USA. He is an actor, known for Survivor (2000), Broken Bones - Shattered Dreams, a Story of Hope (2014) and Underground Entertainment: The Movie (2011). At age three, he moved to Kokomo, Indiana, USA, where he grew up on James Street. His father, Roger F. Boneham, was a Professor of Geology at Indiana University. His mother, Georgette Boneham (of Syrian descent), grew up in foster care and taught Chemistry at Lewis Cass High School in Cass County, IN and eventually got her Master's Degree in Social Work. He has one brother, Christopher. His youth was difficult. As an overweight asthmatic and Dyslexic, bullying and abuse were common. In January of 1982, he graduated from High School and moved to Abilene, Texas, USA. He delivered pizzas until he enrolled in oil-rigging school. After a few years the jobs dried up, and he found himself homeless, living in his car with his pet snakes. He worked as a day laborer until he enrolled in nursing school, where he maintained a 3.2 GPA thanks to recording lectures and the Anatomy Coloring Book. He moved back to Indianapolis where he worked in the mental health field, eventually founding his charity, Rupert's Kids. Made famous by his four appearances on CBS's Survivor (2000), Rupert has acted in and produced several short films and a web series, Rupert Boneham's Frightmares (2014), which he also hosted. His credits include UPN's Half & Half (2002) and CBS's Yes, Dear (2000). In 2012, he ran for governor of the state of Indiana. He and his running mate, Brad Klopfenstein, earned 3.94% of the vote. He is married to Laura Tyner. They have one child, Raya.
