Belle's first major film role was as staunch evangelist Alice in the black comedy feature film, '12 in a Box' playing opposite Miranda Hart, Katy Wix and Kenneth Collard. The film went on to win various awards including Best UK Film at the LA British Film Festival, Best Screenplay at the Boston Intl. Film Festival and the Audience Award at the Zurich Film Festival. Her television work includes roles in the TV Dramas 'Hear the Silence' (Dir Tim Fywell) and 'Alibi' ( Dir David Richards) and the British crime drama, 'Class of 76' (Dir Ashley Pearce). Belle's work includes an extensive run in theatre, playing a number of lead roles including Kate in Shakespeare's 'The Taming of the Shrew', Daisy in Denise Deegan's 'Daisy Pulls it Off' and Prospero in Shakespear's 'The Tempest' directed by RSC's Chris Crooks who transformed the male role of Prospero into that of female sorceress Prospera. She also spent time with The London Repertory Company which was founded and managed by actor/director John Forgeham, taking the lead roles of Eve in the comedy 'Adam Redundant' and Virginia Aspel in 'The Missionary'. Returning to film she was cast in writer/director Carol Morley's feature film 'The Falling' and most recently was cast as Kerry in the feature film 'The Protector' directed by Tosca Musk.
