Brad Hanson was born in McKinney, Texas in 1974. At the age of nine, he moved to North Carolina where he went to school and eventually attended East Carolina University studying art and theater. He then moved to Orlando, Florida and appeared on various local television commercials and was nominated for an award in acting for his role as, "Wilfred Jenkins" in the play, "Through the Looking Glass", by the Florida Theater Association. In 1997, Brad then moved to Miami to start a career in modeling. He worked as a model for 3 years, traveling the world and appearing in ads and runway shows. In January of 2000, Brad moved to Los Angeles, to pursue a career in acting. Brad is an Eagle Scout, and also served in the Army National Guard for 8 years as an apache helicopter crew chief. In 2007, after deciding to go back to college, Brad graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Kinesiology from California State University Northridge. Shortly thereafter, Brad married Math teacher Marisa Vera, who he met while attending college. The two now live in San Jose, California and Brad currently works as a Physical Education teacher and coach at a local high school. Brad is still active in the entertainment industry through producing, writing, and occasionally appearing on stage, television and film.
