Bryan Tucker is a stand up comedian and sketch actor, but he's mostly known as a comedy writer. Bryan has written for some of the top sketch shows in the past two decades including The Chris Rock Show and Chappelle's Show. He is senior writer on Saturday Night Live. Bryan is a twelve-time Emmy nominee, the recipient of a Peabody Award, and four Writers Guild Awards. Two sketches that Bryan wrote were picked by the Washington Post as part of "The 20 Defining Comedy Sketches of the Past 20 Years" (Chappelle's Show "The Racial Draft" and SNL's "Black Jeopardy with Tom Hanks.) The New York Times said Bryan's Black Jeopardy with Tom Hanks sketch "wasn't just the best sketch of the "S.N.L." election season. It was some of the best political analysis of the campaign." Before he broke into TV writing, Bryan was a performer who played over 500 shows around the country as a stand up and as a player in the sketch/ improv group Selected Hilarity. Bryan is a writer in his fifteenth season of Saturday Night Live. He lives in New York City with his wife and two children.
