Sean Roldan is an American writer, director, and producer. He is a Los Angeles native and started his career while he was still in high school by producing action-sports events. His experience quickly lead to collaboration with companies such as ESPN, MTV, and FOX Sports. After attending and leaving California State University, Fullerton, Sean continued his professional studies at The Lee Strasberg Theater & Film Institute in Hollywood. In 2001, Sean enrolled in The Los Angeles Film School. He received awards and honors for multiple projects that have been in various festivals and markets including HD Fest, The Noir Film Festival, the Los Angeles Short International Film Festival and Raindance. He received generous guidance by long-time mentor and friend Jeff Young (Blade Runner, Spinal Tap) and Alan Ladd, Jr. (Star Wars, Braveheart) for a short period of time. Sean worked on various high-profile television projects including the Billboard Awards and Teen Choice Awards for FOX Television. Shortly after, Sean established his own event and production companies. His expertise in event production lead to creating solutions for companies that include: Sprite, Lexus, PetSmart, DTS, Logitech, BCBG, Capitol Records, and MGM Grand, Las Vegas. During this time, Sean produced indie motion picture projects that include: Without Ward, The Privateer, Your Name Here, and Going Down. In 2016, Sean established Picture Business Inc, a Los Angeles based production company that develops scripted and unscripted content. At PBI, Sean produced counter-terrorism related content and documentaries for major corporations and first responders in law enforcement and the fire service. In 2018, Sean wrote and produced a PSA for the Department of Homeland Security featuring Harrison Ford and produced a segment of the NotifyLA PSA that still airs on ABC7. He has written, directed, and produced short-form content for entities that include: Nike, Toyota, and 7-Eleven. In 2020, Sean collaborated with FOX Entertainment on a project he wrote and produced for LAFD featuring Rob Lowe and recently produced the 2020 Comic-Con Panel for COSMOS hosted by Neil Degrasse Tyson, coming to FOX this fall. Sean is currently a partner at Picture Business International.
