Erich Recker is taping the 4th season (over 70 episodes already completed) of the highly successful A&E series, "Criss Angel MINDFREAK" as Executive Producer. Before working with A&E, Recker was just off the heels of another record season with, "Dr. Phil". Other recent credits include the Tyra Banks project, "Tyra", two seasons of ABC/SOAPnet's, "1 Day With" starring "General Hospital's" Wally Kurth, three seasons (39 episodes) of The Great Adventure for the Fine Living Network, and the WB hit game show, "Street Smarts". Mr. Recker is the recipient of several awards including multiple Telly, Omni, Aurora, and Houston Film Festival Awards. Erich began his career in entertainment as an actor in his hometown of Cincinnati. Erich performed in a plethora of local commercials before moving to Los Angeles and acquiring an array of bit parts including, The Abduction of Ragtime with Shelly Long. Once in LA, his younger brother Mathew Botuchis (then 12 years old) joined him to advance his own acting career. With Erich managing Mathew's career, Mat hit the ground running. Mathew Botuchis' starring film and TV credits include roles such as, Eddie Munster in Here come the Munsters, Rocky in Three Ninjas, and was a recurring guest star on the hit, Will & Grace. Wanting more control over his own career, Erich took a staff position at the Peabody winning Channel One News as a programming coordinator and soon began writing and producing long form documentaries. While there he worked with many distinguished political guests including, Mikhail Gorbachev, General McCaffrey, and entertainment personalities including, Russell Carpenter, James Cameron, and more. Over time he began producing various EPKs for some of the major record labels whose clients included, Shaquille O'Neal, Dishwalla, NSYNC, and more. Other work partners have included Paramount for The Making of Titanic, MGM for The Man Behind the Iron Mask, and Disney Channel for The Making of Sgt. Pepper. Later, he migrated to Warner Bros combining his skills in talent management with that of production to cast the hit game show, Street Smarts before going on as a producer to other projects which included Fox's, Extreme Dating, KCAL's, The Best of California, and much more.
