Ray Addison is a producer and presenter with over 20 years working across television and radio. He began his career by studying a degree in Television & Video Production at Bournemouth University, before moving to London and beginning his career in development, helping to earn documentary commissions from Channel 4 and Channel 5 for Cornerstone Films. Ray spent the next 10 years working across a varied mix of current affairs, lifestyle, youth, interactive and comedy programming, producing content for broadcasters including Channel 5, Channel 4, MTV and E! Entertainment. During this time he worked his way up from Assistant to Series Producer and worked with presenters including Iain Lee, Danny Wallace, Caroline Flack and Richard Herring. In 2009, Ray was asked to create a lifestyle format for Middle Eastern broadcaster Dubai One. Relocating to the United Arab Emirates, he went on to produce 'Studio One', the country's first ever live English language magazine show. By the time it went off air at the end of 2014, 684 episodes had aired across 16 countries. That same year he was asked to join nightly newscast 'Emirates News' as a Bulletin Editor where he soon began anchoring the business news as a cover host. In 2020 as the coronavirus pandemic went global Ray was asked to host Dubai One's COVID awareness show 'Stay At Home', the live launch of the Mars Hope Probe and the signing of the historic peace accord between the UAE and Israel. In 2021 Ray hosted 'Mission to Mars', covering the UAE Hope Probe's arrival in the red planet's orbit. He also studied and gained a professional Chef's diploma from the UK's City & Guilds and began hosting social media cookery show 'Tik Cook' for Dubai TV.
