Maia Jae Bastidas was born in Toronto, Canada. Maia Jae recurs as "Eliza Wells" on "Rabbit Hole" starring Keifer Sutherland for Paramount+ and will recur as "Justine" on the Emmy nominated "The Boys" spin-off series, "Gen-V" for Amazon Prime. In 2023, Maia will be on-screen with Golden Globe winner Amanda Seyfried in the new film, "Seven Veils" written and directed by Academy Award nominee Atom Egoyan. Both filmed in Toronto. Maia also played opposite Academy Award nominee Jeremy Renner in Taylor Sheridan's "Mayor of Kingstown" Season 1 for Paramount+. Later in 2023, Maia will Guest Star as "Letty Acosta" on "HPI" starring Kaitlin Olson and written by Academy Award nominee Drew Goddard. She will also Guest Star on "Witch Mountain" for Disney+ starring Bryce Dallas-Howard. Additional credits include Guest Star role of "Luciana Rodriquez", a Colombian ex-FARC soldier for CBS's "Ransom" which filmed in Budapest, Hungary. Maia also played "Amber" on the CW/Netflix's hit series "In The Dark". Maia Jae studied Theatre Arts and Media Production with a Spanish language minor from university in Toronto. Her 2016 short film titled "Thumbs" was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival's NextWave Showcase. Maia has been recognized for her work at the Banff World Media Festival's "Women in Media" and "Diversity of Voices" initiatives.
