Kevin was born and raised in Southern California, where at a young age he discovered an interest and talent for filmmaking. One of few "Distinguished Scholars" at the top of his high school class, Kevin turned down UC Berkeley to study film at the University of Southern California. While earning his bachelor of arts degree at the USC School of Cinema-Television, Kevin's ambition and passion for filmmaking could not be overlooked. His persistent attempts to gain acceptance into the exclusive film production program were finally rewarded when an impressed faculty member not only admitted him, but nominated Kevin for the esteemed Princess Grace Scholarship, an award honoring the best student filmmakers in the nation. While at USC, Kevin would co-produce a graduate thesis film between internships at James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment and New Line Cinema, while attending a prestigious production program at the NYU Tisch School for the Arts, ultimately graduating a Cum Laude, Mortar Board honoree, as one of four prestigious undergrad thesis directors selected by USC faculty. Kevin's ground-breaking work has been featured in print by EventDV, HD Video Pro, and Videography magazines, and has led to corporate partnerships with companies like Canon, Adobe, Zacuto, Kessler and Cinevate.
