Former AI tech entrepreneur, turned filmmaker and music producer, Eric Geadelmann, launched his film career in 2003 with "The Dance" - The Billy Roth Story, a critically acclaimed feature documentary that Nicolas Cage executive produced as part of a multi-project partnership that included Universal Pictures. The success of the film was leveraged to create 821 Entertainment Group, a Nashville-based diversified media company with offices in Los Angeles and New York with divisions including motion picture and television development and production, music (recorded music, publishing and music supervisory services) and digital media (the launch of "Crowfly Live" with music legend Mark Knopfler, and partnership with Reveille & NBC/USA Network "Nashville Star"). Following a corporate restructuring in 2010, Geadelmann partnered with Kelly Magelky and helmed the award-winning and critically acclaimed mentor-themed basketball film, "DAVE," developed Bron Studios/Sony Classic's Hank Williams biopic, "I Saw The Light" (Associate Producer), and began shepherding the development of the adaptation of John Grisham's best seller, "The Testament" (Producer) in partnership with Academy Award Winner, Mark Johnson. In 2013 he re-teamed with Magelky and began production on the six film / 12 hour epic "They Called Us Outlaws" (Writer, Director, Producer, Executive Producer, Cinematographer, Music Producer) in partnership with The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum that will be released in 2023, ... and the team created the companion short film series, "Outlaws & Armadillos", that served as the centerpiece of a major exhibit at Country Music Hall of Fame that Geadelmann co curated (2018-2021). Additional multi-part documentary projects in production that Geadelmann and Magelky are creating to be released in 2023 and 2024 include a slate of six films in Sports and Music, under the newly formed finance and production banners Shadowbrook Studios and Armadillo World Studios. Geadelmann produces the original music for films as part of Scenic Road Revival, featuring Kings of Leon band member Chris Coleman.
