Roy Eisenstein an accomplished and prolific director, writer, and actor was born and raised in Brooklyn New York. Roy moved to California where he studied Directing and Method Acting techniques for many years. He worked not only as an actor in television and films, but also professionally performed stand-up, improvisation and sketch comedy as well. Roy Eisenstein is a television director and a decade long member of the prestigious Directors Guild of America, (DGA). He has directed such notable shows and projects as Spy TV on NBC, Scare Tactics on the SciFy Network, Trigger Happy TV for Comedy Central and The Pet Shop with Andy Kindler on Animal Planet to name a few. Roy also co-wrote and produced the late-night comedy show, The City Dogs which ran at the Tamarind Theatre in Hollywood to great reviews and audience response. His talent was acknowledged as LA Weekly Pick of the Week. He also directed and has had sketches in OPM's stage productions in LA, San Francisco and Vancouver, British Columbia. He has worked with a number of well-known actors and comedians in Hollywood both for stage and television. Roy wrote, produced and directed numerous video pieces that premiered in such film festivals as The Mill Valley Film Festival, a major San Francisco Bay Area venue, and The Dallas Film Festival in Texas.
