Susan Alexxis Steele

Alexxis Steele is an American actress, vocalist, writer, host of The Dynamic Divas Show Live at The Jetport Lounge, and host of her nationally syndicated show Music 101 With Alexxis Steele on IHeartRadio & Spotify. Growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, she followed in the footsteps of her father- Chuck Perry who succeeded Frank Sinatra on vocals in the Big Band Era's Harry James Orchestra., and performed for stars such as Jack Klugman, and many others. Her father primed her for the industry, starting at age 3, winning her first vocal contest, setting her up with her own first band at age 12, up until age 15, as she continued to work with his band. Alexxis got her start in front of the camera early on as an "Ivory Snow Baby", winning a succession of child modeling contests as well. During her elementary school years, she performed in various school plays, and developed a taste for character acting, which would later spill over into her vocal performances. As a student in drama class in both Jr. High, and high school, she won awards for creating soap operas and commercials in her classes. As an adult she continued in the arts, with a 3 year stint at classical ballet, then performing in her own bands from 1983 until present. From 1998 until until 2001, she worked for Allentown based record label BIE Records, which springboarded her into a position as Executive Director for the Lehigh Valley Music Awards,with founder Ian Bruce, from 2001 to 2006. During this time, she was also a talent scout and judge for Antares productions. In 2006, she began acting in shows, and comedy skits with Bethlehem , Pa based, Night Of The Arts Attractions. In 2009, Alexxis received a Lehigh Valley Music Award for over 20 years of her musical service contribution. In 2011 she launched Steel Entertainment & Records LLC, talent booking agency, record label, along with Steel Global Entertainment BMI Music Publishing & ASCAP based Steel Songs Worldwide. 2012, Alexxis branched out into radio, and started her now nationally syndicated show on IHeartRadio & Spotify, interviewing national recording artists, actors, and music industry icons, called Music 101 With Alexxis Steele. 2014 was a fruitful year, as she launched not only her magazine- Steel Notes, but also joined forces with Dreamcatcher Multimedia, and acted in the mob film- "You Can Hear Me" . She also received credit for casting and wardrobe of the film. Working with her Steel Pulse Models, she became wardrobe stylist on Model Mayhem. In 2017, Alexxis started Steel Waves Radio, and Steel Pulse Tv, along with her live show- "The Dynamic Divas show with Lexxi & Josie, with her co-host, Josie Janci. The Divas and their show have been nominated for several awards each year since and both will be honored at LVMA20 on March 3rd, 2019. Alexxis continues her career with acting, and all of her other endeavors.
