Zac Efron

"When you're young everything seems like the end of the world, but it's not; it's just the beginning." Zac Efron is an American actor, known for his role as Troy Bolton in the musical trilogy High School Musical (2006, 2007 and 2008), a project that brought him to fame and consolidated him as a teen idol. At the age of 11, Zac began attending the Pacific Conservatory for the Performing Arts and started taking singing lessons. Due to his talent, he was soon performing in different plays. He was recommended by his drama teacher to an agent in Los Angeles and began his film career playing small roles in movies and television series. In 2006 he became one of the most famous teenage actors in the world. The following year he was selected to play Link Larkin in Hairspray (2007), a film based on the Broadway musical comedy, which he co-starred in with John Travolta, among others. Subsequently, he starred in 17 Again (2009). The Lucky One (2012), Neighbors (2014), and Ted Bundy: Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile(2019) in which he plays the serial killer, are other films where he demonstrates his versatility as an actor. In 2020 he premieres Down to Earth with Zac Efron, a documentary series where he appears as a presenter. He has four Teen Choice Awards, an MTV Movie Awards, among others.
