One of the most controversial Polish singers of all time, Michal Wisniewski raised up as an orphan, his real parents left him. He formed his band, Ich Troje in the mid-90s. The band rose to fame in 2001, gaining extreme popularity, but also causing many controversions due both to weak singing and rather trivial compositions. Enraged by fatal press reviews and media boycott (many radio stations and TVs refused to play his songs becaus ethey found them 'too poor' or 'too primitive'), Wisniewski often attacked and insulted journalists, cameramen and photographers who tried to talk to him or tried to shoot a picture, which resulted in several suits and legal steps. The band and its lead singer's popularity reached its peak in 2003, but then was significally falling.
