Daniel Snyder has spent the last fifteen years writing, producing, and directing documentaries and non-fiction television series for many of the biggest names in broadcasting. Daniel has served as show runner on five multi-part non-fiction cable series and has written, directed, or produced more than fifty hours of programming, including such television hits as Swamp People, Bering Sea Gold, and Ancient Aliens, for the Discovery Channel, History Channel, CNN, AMC, IFC, Lifetime, VH1, and many others. Before moving into the documentary world, Daniel was a news magazine producer for CNN's award-winning weekly program, NewsStand. He also co-produced CNN's hour-long Millennium Special, which capped the network's end-of-century coverage. Prior to CNN, he served as Los Angeles Correspondent for public radio's international business program, Marketplace, where he won several journalism awards. Daniel's education in storytelling began early. During high school, he landed a job at Video Archives, the now-famous video store in Manhattan Beach, California, that employed future filmmakers Quentin Tarantino and Roger Avary, among others. The video clerks there spent countless hours watching and talking about film -- and planning how to make their mark on the industry they loved.
