Luscious and voluptuous brunette stunner Marilyn Cole was born on May 7, 1949 in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England. Cole started out as a Bunny at London's Playboy Club. Marilyn was romantically pursued by both Hugh Hefner and Playboy Enterprises executive Victor Lownes. She was the Playmate of the Month in the January, 1972 issue of "Playboy." Her centerfold was the first one to display unrestricted full frontal nudity. Cole did follow-up pictorials in the April, 1984 and April, 1989 issues of "Playboy." Marilyn was named the Playmate of the Year in 1973; she has the distinction of being the only British woman to ever hold this particular title. Cole dated singer Bryan Ferry of the British art rock band Roxy Music for a while in the 1970's and appears on the cover of the group's 1973 album "Stranded." Marilyn married Lownes in 1984 and remained married to him until his death in January, 2017. Lownes and Cole lived together in both London, England and New York City, New York. In the wake of her Playmate stint Marilyn went on to become a journalist.
