Nicolas Vanier

Born in Senegal in 1962, ,Nicolas Vanier grew up on the farm belonging to his grandfather in Sologne where he developed his feeling for the ecology of nature and his love for animals.His adventures, in the style of an author he admires, Jack London, have taken him to Alaska, Canada, Lapland, Mongolia and Siberia, the northern lands where he also races dog sled with his own kennel.He has taken photographs from his trips , written novels and graphic novels and also directed shorts, documentaries, and fiction features.
