Ricardo Kleinbaum is a multifaceted Actor, and Film Producer. As an actor he has worked in hundreds of projects, ranging from Movies to Theatre plays, and Television as well, for the biggest Latin networks like Televisa, Univision and Telemundo (an NBC owned Co.). His soap-operas have been distributed in over 170 countries, among which are: "Triunfo del amor", "Corazón salvaje", "La madrastra", "Una familia con suerte", "Lo que la vida me robó", "De que te quiero te quiero", among many others. On stage he has recently became "Maximilian of Habsburg", the last Mexican Emperor, being set up at the Chapultepec Castle, as a project by the Mexican Cultural Ministry. He started his producing career, when joining In 2009 Río Negro Producciones as COO, functioning as Producer and Fundraiser. In August 2010, as part of Rio Negro Films, he Exec. Produced, and also played a role of "It's not you, it's me", directed by Alejandro Springall, starring Eugenio Derbez, that became the biggest Box Office grossing Mexican film of the year. Since 2012 Mr. Kleinbaum started to pave his way to the Hollywood production arena, starting with his first feature "Elsa & Fred", a remake of an argentine Box Office hit, starred by Shirley MacLaine and Christopher Plummer, helmed by Michael Radford (Il Postino), where he served as Producer and Financier of the film. In 2013, he become part of the new Charlize Theron project "Dark Places" where he is Executive Producer and co-funded together with the Rio Negro Fund. His home is where his projects need him, having been living lately between Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Miami and Mexico City.
