Ben Fiore is a multiple award-winning, optioned and produced, New York-based screenwriter. Several of his short and feature-length screenplays have garnered major wins and high placement awards in top, mainstream screenwriting contests and film festivals. His multi-award-winning, feature-length, female-led, psychological thriller screenplay, "In the Quiet of the Evening", (co-written by Raymond Izaac) was recently optioned for production by Milestone Studios of Los Angeles, CA. His short, boxing-themed drama script, "Puncher's Chance", was produced during the summer of 2019, in Atlanta, GA, by director Cristina Acocella, the Script Supervisor for the CBS-TV All-Access Channel's hit reboot of "MacGyver". Ben recently co-wrote the TV pilot, "Against the Ropes", about a Texas boxer turned trainer who faced the dark, corrupt side of the boxing game while maintaining his sanity and integrity. Ben is also the co-creator and writer of "The Mamaluke", a new comedy TV series project, starring Johnny 'Roastbeef' Williams (of "Goodfellas" and the Best Picture Oscar-winning, "Green Book"). A retired NYC Police Officer, he served in both the NYC Transit Police (patrolling New York's subways) and the NYPD. Ben is a 9/11 'First Responder' and participated in the rescue and recovery mission during and after the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. He lives with his lovely wife, Marci, a Social Media Specialist, and their two sons, Stephen, an Interactive Designer for Marvel Entertainment, and Christopher, an actor, in New York.
