Sarah Pettycrew is a natural redhead who grew up in Saginaw, Michigan and describes her childhood as "painfully shy". After graduating high school, she moved to Florida and attended the Florida State University. While in college, she was a huge "Seminole" fan and graduated in four years with a BA in Theatre. From there she moved to Orlando, Florida because she had hopes of being the "Little Mermaid" on the floats at Walt Disney World. However, a different path was in store for this green eyed girl. In 1998 she headed for the hills of Hollywood. Pettycrew continues to study her craft and is a member of the The Actors Film Company. She is also a proud founding member and Treasurer of the Creative Actors Alliance, as well as, the creator of the scriptwriting competition, The C.A.S.T. Project. Pettycrew landed supporting roles in the independent features, Lich, Black Hole, and Hitchghost.com. She was also cast in the Z-Ville Productions of Blues Man, Lotto and The Chair. In 2003, she portrayed "Jenny" at Hollywood's Tamarind Theatre in the production of American Prometheus and was last seen on stage at the Mark Taper Auditorium where she portrayed the "School Psychologist" in Thrill of Art. Pettycrew was very excited to play the part of "Janet", the maid in the Fox Searchlab short film, Day Shift, which was voted Best Short at the Ozone Film Festival. She also performed as a Ballroom Dancer in the Kate Hudson film, The Skeleton Key and completed the film, Execution.Kill, a Stone Mountain Film and Talking To Strangers, in which she also co-produced with Michael Savage of Tree Fort Productions. She also produced the award winning indie comedy, "Life at the Resort" with her fellow producers at Creative Actors Alliance and in association with Z-Ville Productions. She currently resides in the Central Florida area with her husband Butch and their daughters, Savana and Olivia.
