Terre Weisman

As a stand up comedian, Terre started his comedy career in Cambridge, MA at the infamous "Ding Ho". This club is known for launching the careers of many Boston comedians such as Steven Wright, Dennis Leary, and Lenny Clarke. Beginning in the late seventies with "open mike" nights, he wrote and performed my own original comedy at Nicks Comedy Stop, The Comedy Connection, Stitches, and Plat it Again Sam's, until opening his own comedy club in Southern NH, serving as it's permanent host. As a musician, Terre has written and produced numerous original compositions and have performed publicly throughout his twenties. He's currently writing original compositions and score for potential use in other original film projects. In the late eighties, he's turned his attention to writing, writing over a dozen sitcom specs including Seinfeld, Wings, and News Radio. For the last 25 years, he has written a number of comedy and drama feature film scripts. In 2002, he wrote, directed and produced his first feature film "Developing Sheldon", earning "Best Feature" from the New Hampshire Film Festival as well as "Best Drama" from The Wilton Film and Art Festival. Terre's latest feature film, "The "A" Plate", which he wrote, directed and produced, is a romantic comedy starring Sam McMurray and Priscilla Barnes. Winning "Best Supporting Actress" for Priscilla Barnes and "Best Editor" at the 2011 Hoboken Film Festival, as well as the "Indie Spirit Award" for Terre at the 2012 Boston International Film Festival. Currently, Terre is working on a third feature to be produced through his Creative Balance Films banner.
