26-year-old Bill Booker was no stranger to independent filmmaking when approached for Beer Muscles (2004). He's been acting since high school, where he was involved in theater, until he was expelled for threatening to kill a teacher (a simple misunderstanding). After graduating (from a neighboring high school) he went on to study music production at Massachusetts Communications College, where he eventually gave up and dropped out 10 hours short of graduating. Booker has been involved with Balls Productions since the late 90s, when they were known as No Budget Productions. He has worked as an actor for 5 years. Other credits include "The Stoop" and "Beer Money." Having what has been described as a "Tom Arnold physique," at first glance, Booker might not appear to be perfectly cast in the role of superhero Bob Drummond. However, as you watch "Beer Muscles," you quickly change your mind. Booker is the perfect straight man, when playing off the crazy antics of co-star Matt McGuire. He's full of heart, and plays a character we can all identify with. You find yourself rooting for him, and giving him the benefit of the doubt every chance you get. Suckers.
