Malik Simmons

Malik Simmons was born and raised in a small town in southern Illinois. He is the youngest of four children. Malik graduated from Alton High School and afterward he attended Illinois State University and SIUE. First exposure to filmmaking came when he observed the feature film The Big Brass Ring (1999) being filmed in his hometown of Alton. Malik always had a huge love for movies and after watching one being filmed in person he definitely knew that was his calling. While he started out in behind the scenes work in movies, Malik is now focusing his attention and following his passion on performing in front of the camera.
