Stephen Tramontana is a writer, director, and producer focusing on horror and crime. In 2009, he gained attention for his spec pilot Exit Strategy, and in 2011 he wrote Welshgate, which finaled in the Austin Film Festival and was optioned several times for production. In 2014, he co-wrote and directed the horror comedy Killer Piñata and released his first comic book, Anya. In 2017, his horror feature, Norman, quarterfinaled in the BlueCat screenwriting competition, and he completed the horror short Eyelash. His new comic book, GR-8 (with David Pentecost) will be released in 2018. He started his career in New York working for NBC, before moving to Los Angeles. In 2005, he joined FWE Entertainment, where he coordinated post-production for Syfy Channel b-movies such as Alien Apocalypse, Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys, and Bruce Campbell's directorial debut, Man with the Screaming Brain. He's been a guest on Terror Troop and Poop Culture, and guest hosts Horror Society screenings of Charles Band films. He lives in Chicago with his wife and his dog, Tom Hanks, named after no one in particular.
