Prince Gharios of Ghassan Al-Nu'Man VIII or in Arabic Emir Al-Nu'Man Gharios Ibn Jafna Al-Ghassani (nee. 'Ahnume Guerios' the Portuguese transliteration of 'Al-Nu'man Gharios') is internationally recognized as the heir of the Arab Christian Ghassanid Kings, heir of the Byzantine Emperors from the Nikephoros (Phocid) and heir of the Christian Sheikhs Chemor from Lebanon. His direct ascendants ruled until 1747 AD as the last legitimate descendants of the Ghassanid Kings. Authored the only specific book about Dynastic and Nobility Law available in English today ("The End of a Myth") and also the book "Middle East: the secret history and possible solutions" awarded in Italy in 2014. Never using his titles as "special leverage" Prince Gharios had a successful career in Entertainment in Brazil since 1994 using the stage name "Mauricio Guerios", in all areas: Movies, TV, Radio, Publishing, Music, Theater, etc. He has been involved in many productions as an actor and also behind the cameras. Both in Brazil and other countries. Is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and of the SATED (Brazilian SAG). In January 2013 was appointed as a juror of the Monaco Film Festival and in 2015 a member of the honor board of the Asian World Film Festival. Is also a worldwide known Master of Martial Arts holding the 5th Degree of Black belt in Aikido certificated by the Aikikai Foundation in Tokyo, Japan. Also holds black-belts in Karate and Kobudo (Japanese weapons). He holds a degree in Marketing, Doctorates Honoris Causa in Theology, History, Anthropology and one PhD in Religious Philosophy. Also a 'Strictu Sensu' Doctorate in Dynastic and Canonic Law. Is a Papal knight being knighted by the authority of the Pope in 2014 in Jordan. Currently is a Knight of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem, one of the oldest and most respected in the world.
