Sam Tyson is an adult film and voiceover actor living in Southern California. After college, he worked as a beat reporter for the daily newspaper in Spokane, Wash. Soon after "The Advocate" featured Sam as one of the "30 Best and Brightest Under 30" and PlanetOut crowned him "Fantasy Man of the Week" on AOL. Sam later co-founded "HERO: the magazine for the rest of us" which led the wave of the "mainstreaming of the LGBT movement." Mirroring his strict upbringing, "HERO" did not accept adult or tobacco advertising, and ceased production in 2002. Pivoting quickly, Tyson met privately with iconic drag personality/porn director Chi Chi La Rue and powerhouse Hollywood talent manager David Forest. He signed with Forest and "Unzipped" Magazine put Tyson on its cover, calling him a "Future Gay Porn Superstar." And "Instinct" named him "Best Porn Newcomer." He appeared in spreads for Genre Magazine, Tetu, Attitude, and DNA. Tyson and co-star Jason Adonis' hilarious performance in director Wash West's gay porn parody, "The Hole" helped Jet Set Productions sweep the Gay-VN / Grabby Awards for Best Picture in 2003. Both Adonis and Tyson appeared in VH1's docuseries, "Totally Gay" and Sam was featured in that show's opening credits. Sam moved to Austin, Texas in late 2003 for a residency with the Hyde Park Theatre, where he starred in "My Boyfriend, the Stripper" by Ronnie Larsen after which he returned to Hollywood to shoot centerfolds for "Playgirl" Magazine, entitled: "Body Work: Sam Tyson Constructs the Ultimate Fantasy" and a special edition of that magazine, "Men at Work" After a long hiatus, he re-emerged in 2021 as co-host of the podcast, "Deep Deep Inside" with Jon X. And he is negotiating with Dark Alley Media to produce or release new independent content for its RawFuckClub unit. By: T. Del Mar
