Scott Alan Hoye

Born to an Irish Catholic family of seven, Scott Hoye originally hales from Detroit, Michigan. While in his last years of college, Scott could be found in the art studio, practicing and performing Celtic Harp, Whistle and vocals with the now defunct Ann Arbor, Michigan band, The Spriggans, and (once again) performing in regional theater productions. It was at this time that he and director Anthony Penta embarked on various film projects. After several attempts at cinematic excellence, the two hit pay dirt, along with musician and actor Steve Toth, on "H.P. Lovecraft's The Hound." "The Hound" played to critical acclaim at film festivals, and won a well deserved spot on Lurker Film's DVD compilation, "Cool Air." Following on the success of "The Hound," Penta and Hoye, along with composer and actor Patrick Penta, created the delightful, Edward Gorey Tribute, "The Hapless Antiquarian." Hapless won prize at Michigan's Ann arbor Film Festival and East Lansing Film Festival. Currently, Mr. Hoye resides in Chicago. His most recent projects include Cinema Sky's, "Girl's Night Out", and a spoken word project with author Phill Weber entitled, "Ticket to Chaos." Scott has recently finished work on the comedy feature, "Idiots are Us," for Cinema Sky Production.
