Dragana's first record appeared in 1982, as Bebi Dol (Baby Doll), with the song "Mustafa." The next year she composed the song "Rudi" (Rudy), inspired by famous actor Rudolph Valentino and his film The Son of the Sheik (1926). This song is her most popular in her country. She recorded three albums between 1984 and 2002. She also composed two songs for the film "Protestni album" in 1986, in which she also acted. In 1985, Dragana lent her own voice to songs of the character played by actress Sonja Savic in the film "Zivot je Lep" (Life is Beautiful). In 1991, Bebi Dol represented Yugoslavia in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Brasil."
