Singer, discovered by Lawrence Welk while she attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Her parents moved to Paddock Lake, Wisconsin (Kenosha County) when she was a toddler, and then to the city of Kenosha where she attended local schools, graduating from the George Tremper High School in 1970. Her weekly appearances on the Welk TV series included solos and duets with baritone Dick Dale between 1976 and the end of the series in February, 1982. Thereafter she continued to sing in Kenosha, and sang the National Anthem for the Milwaukee Brewers in 1983. In 1987 she moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth (Texas) area to become activities director at the Whiterock Court retirement home, teaching exercise classes, directing a chorus, even driving the bus.
