Peter Brooks

Born in Coventry he was educated at John Culson Grammar School, Coventry and won a scholarship to Keele University obtaining degrees in English and French and a diploma in education plus a scholarship to RADA after which he worked in many reps and a year at the Old Vic then a season doing Shakespeare in Chicago, He was married to Barbara Ann, a former London Palladium dancer and secretary to Cliff Richard and the Shadows, They have 2 daughters Emma Jane and Sophie Kate
