Ruben Angel Pinon

Ruben Angel Piñon, graduate of Interamerican Military Academy. He attended Miami Dade Community College where he received his Associates Degree, in Theatre/Theatre Education. He was a Miami Dade Jaguar Cheerleader, 1995 Collegiate National Champions, which led to full scholarship at Florida State University, School of Theatre, B.F.A. Program. He was also a Florida State and University of Miami Cheerleader. The extensive gymnastics and dance training led to work as a choreographer. In 1995 he went out to California to work under contract for the leading Dance and Cheer training company in the United States. Of Cuban descent, he was given the opportunity to compete in Sueños De Fama (Telemundo/Sony) the Spanish version of Star Search, by the same creators as the original. Three consecutive wins, landed him plenty of featured roles in hip-hop music videos being filmed in Miami (Mr. Cheeks, Too Short, etc.). He choreographed the latest video for the Cuban Link, a well known rapper from New York. He was a regular on 16 episodes of the Cindy Margolis Show. He played Andre Lamas in the Edge Theatre Company's production of Couturier, a play based on the life and work of Versace as well as Victor in their production of South Beach. He can be seen in the new 20th Century Fox Film, Stuck On You, performing opposite Meryl Streep. Currently he is choreographing the Orange Bowl Halftime Show featuring Ciara. He also completed Virggi" (Universal Latin Records) music video and upcoming tour.
