Jane Petrov is an actress, producer and writer, known for Athena (2017), _I Killed Susan Blake (2016)_qv), What Future (2013),and The Cry (2007). She was born in Maryland and raised alongside her eight siblings. Her mother, Jean Petrov, is an RN and Clinical Nurse Specialist in Oncology at Walter Reed Medical Center. Her father, Vladimir Petrov, originally from Krasnodar, Russia, was Professor Emeritus of History and International Affairs at The George Washington University. Jane performed leading roles on stage and studied music while working on her Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs at GWU. After graduating, she trained in Washington, DC at The Shakespeare and Studio Theaters before heading to New York City where she studied at Michael Howard Studios and HB Studio. Favorite performances include Viola in "Twelfth Night", roles in "theAtrainplays" at The Neighborhood Playhouse and The Peter Jay Sharp Theater, "Hugging the Shoulder" at The New York Fringe Festival, and singing backup for Ronnie Spector at the 25th Anniversary CBS-FM Show at Radio City Music Hall. Jane is co-owner of SkyTown Entertainment, which received the award for Outstanding Production Value for her short sci-fi film, What Future (2013), at the 2014 Laughlin International Film Festival.
