Dmitriy Parmenov

Dmitriy Parmenov was born in Vladivostok, USSR in 1971. Studied physics and philology at the Saint-Petersburg University. In 1994-1999 he studied at the SPb University of Cinema and TV under film director Leonid Menaker. In 1999 his graduation short film "Science and Life" won the first prize at the "Literature and Film" festival. Since then he has been working continuously as a TV series director and screenwriter for all three of the major Russian TV channels. Has 5 children. Currently lives in New-York.
