Fiona Jones is a New York based actor, writer & producer. She is a founding partner of manhattantheatresource and the founder of EstroGenius, the theatresource annual celebration of female voices featuring theatre, dance, visual art, poetry, solo shows, music and more. In addition to eight seasons as Executive Producer of EstroGenius, Fiona was a producing partner on the Broadway production of Radio Golf, the last play of influential playwright August Wilson, nominated for four Tony Awards. Fiona has the good fortune to enjoy a successful voiceover career and has recorded hundreds of commercials, industrials, promos and animation projects. She has been on the Allstate campaign with Dennis Haysbert for the past several years & was the first woman to do promos for BMW films & for the NFL on ESPN. As an actor, Fiona has worked, among other places, at Actors Theatre of Louisville, Guild Hall at the John Drew, Chautauqua Repertory Theatre, Playmaker's Rep and The Duke on 42nd Street. Critically acclaimed performances include the Toronto premiere of Harold Pinter's Ashes to Ashes, The Three Sisters (with Ato Essandoh), Woyzeck & Dark Rapture (with Teddy Sears) and The Life & Times of Tulsa Lovechild (with Larry Pine) directed by Oscar and Tony winner Mercedes Ruehl. Fiona has a BFA Magna Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Austin, did a term at Oxford and holds an MFA from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she taught acting and voice for two years. She grew up around the world, living in Italy, England, Japan, Norway, New Jersey and Texas, happily traveling extensively. Now living in Manhattan's Washington Heights with long time friend and full time love Jon Ecklund, Fiona is diving into the foray of film production, writing, traveling and playing on swing sets whenever possible.
